I'd also like to hear about about any crossbow kills. This is the first year that the DEC is allowing the use of crossbows to harvest deer during the regular firearms and the late muzzleloading seasons in the Southern Zone. The only exception is Cortland County, where a legislative miscue by local state and county lawmakers resulted in crossbows being banned during the regular firearms season. They can be used, however, during the late muzzleloading season.
