It was a 12 pointer. He got it with a scoped Remington 1187 shotgun at 110 yards.

He wrote: The deer has 12 points; 21 3/8 - inch inside spread; dressed out at 185 lbs; green scored at 177 2/8.

"The deer was shot with a scoped Remington 1187 shotgun at 110 yards."
