LeClair specializes in making bamboo rods from scratch, but he also does repair work on all types of fly rods (bamboo, Fiberglass, graphite). Seeing that I got two graphite blanks for a rod for Christmas from a close friend, I asked him to go over the specifics of what I (or any other beginner) need to know when it comes to making a rod.
