Peter Vercillo, 78, of Eastwood has fished for some 30 years and never caught a fish until this past summer at Chaumont Bay, according to his son, Peter Vercillo Jr.

The son sent in this photo of his dad proudly holding up his 8-ounce sunny.

"I enjoy your photos and captions in the sports section and I thought this one might be amusing to readers and it is the truth," the son wrote.
