Stories should be submittted by noon Thursday to qualify. They should be no more than 300 words. Photos would help.

The Post-Standard is once again looking for this year’s best Central New York opening day trout fishing story.

Opening day is today. Stories should be submittted by noon Thursday to qualify.

They should be no more than 300 words. Photos would help.

Entries should be e-mailed to outdoors editor David Figura at dfigura@syracuse. The anglers who submit the top three stories will get a choice of more than two dozen, outdoors-related books currently on Figura’s desk.
