Happy Valley off of county rt 69 is very good .I think its around 2000 acres.About 6 miles east of Parish.Used to bow hunt it years ago.Never saw any bucks but huge does.If theres does theres bucks.Place is filled with big Porcupine

We used to camp up at Witney Dam for years.A friend of mine says he caught trout somewhere near there.I saw some does up in there that were HUGE.A nd yes tons of porcupines.

Was wondering if anyone hunts Happy Valley and how do you make out?I have only hunted it once the last three years and didnt see anything.About 15 years ago me and a couple buddies used to hunt it a lot and seen some HUGE does in there.Never saw any bucks but a buddy got a weird 17 pointer

I live in Port Byron near Howlands Island and the deer are in excellent condition.A few miles away near the beet plant i have actually been seeing over 100 on way home from work.They wintered excellent..

Was wondering if anybody hunts the forest and how have ya been doing?I have been hunting it for about 35 years.Bow hunted it only once last year and seen about 20 with none close enough but they were every where.Has gotten very thick down there but thats why the populoation is high.We hunt on Vesa Rd down by the stone cabin.Love it and looking forward to this season...
