Retired from management job I did 40 years that had me on call 24/7.  Only week I forbid them from calling me was hunting season.  But they still did.  I ran buildings, equipment, HVAC and maintenance. Last position facilities ran four shifts.  Product was cash cow but difficult to make.  I was the guy when anything hit the fan.

I was able to retire a little early and now have time for me and others.

I owned land on mountain top with small cabin and then bought the log home that bordered it for my wife and I to retire to. My land borders 1400 acres State land.  We both LOVE it here.

My youth was spent in woods, all seasons.  Family camping in rugged areas, Boy Scouts that winter camped when winters were much more severe, extended backpacker, back woods skier and mountain climber.  My youth has left me, but I can still perform well in the woods.  God willing, many years to come.
