Morning sat till 10:45 didn't see a thing. While walking in for the afternoon sit, spooked up a doe. Haven't seen anything since.

Few shots in the AM over here in 4G. Nothing in the past 30min or so

Few tracks walking in after some fresh powder from last night. Nothing by my stand though..

I have this damn wood pecker to the left of me. Driving me up a wall. Good luck everyone.

Was sitting at a new spot this afternoon sat for about an hour n a half got up and started walking for a little. Walked 3 steps stopped looked around. At about 100 yards I see something walking I stop start grunting and stood there for about 5 min waiting to see it walk back. I hear branches crackling 20 yards from me and a doe comes jumping out took a couple of shots and missed, seen a fawn walk out at 50 yards afterwards. Hoping tomorrow morning I get a better shot. New spot looking good, never hunted that part of my property before. Gilboa

Seen nothing, heard a couple of turkey at a distance, trying a different spot out this afternoon. Gilboa was quiet.

Not raining here yet in 4G just cloudy, had a nice doe just come strolling 30 yards from me didn't give me a clear shot.

Didn't see anything today, heard more shots right before sunset than the rest of the day over here in 4G.

This was also another reason I was going with the venture.

I was looking to pick up a new rifle and my 2 final choices are the Remington 700 and the Thompson Center Venture. Not too sure which one to pick up… Dicks is running a sale on the 700's this week I believe they're $550. I've heard good things about both of these rifles. I'm leaning towards the Venture because it offers a Lifetime warranty vs. the 2 year from Remington.. Which would you choose. Whichever one I choose, it will be a 3006. Has anyone had any bad experiences with either or?
