I know what i saw and thats all the proof i need, but at Monticello race way you could have seen anything and still not be able to identify it

I saw one about 14 years ago between Narrowsburg and Beaver Brook. Also a guy in our club saw one on opening day back 8 or 9 years in Narrowsburg. Just proof that they are in Sullivan County.

Did it once, I shot a 7pt high and broke its back. I pulled out my knife grabed the horns with one hand and cut the throat, as soon as the knife poked him, blood was blowing out of its throat he thrashed his horns i had to really hang on not to be gored. When i finally let let go you could hear him drowning in his own blood. It was the fight of hanging onto the horns i don't want to have to do again.

I hunted Hi-Tor 2 years ago on opening, there were guys every 300 feet, didn't make me feel good with that many people. I again hunted the last week and didn't see any other hunters at all. -
I was wondering if anyone hunts the National Forest and what the hunting pressure is like on opening day? I'm going to hunt it opening day this year.
