And Pennsylvania's license sales have also gone down a little since allowing Crossbows.
So crossbows are going to cause a decrease in hunters? That's a new one.

crossbow users getting the last 14 days of the southern archery season is huge, many consider that prime time to be out there hunting......I remember how pissed many bowhunters were when they lost the last weekend to the Saturday opener of the regular season.
Bowhunters can still hunt the last 14 days.

yea same here... I've even gained a little bit of weight from not being outside working as much.
I hear ya,hopefully the extra weight will come off soon when I try to catch up on all my projects when the weather finally breaks.

I use an old cultivator and then disc after.Works great for me. Our soil has a lot of shale and clay.

what year is the gun...what does is are the 1st few numbers of the serial number. interetsed in what version of the ithaca company built it. if its from the 80's or 90's I might be interested in it.

We have a beautiful log home on 70 acres that has been in the family for over 150yrs but this area isn't the same anymore.30yrs ago we had had a number of industries where you could get a job.Most of those are gone now and now we are over run with welfare bums and drug addicts.4 or 5 times over the last few yrs we have received notices in the mail warning us of a sex offender living in the neighborhood and we have a 12yr old daughter.I know some will say it's like this everywhere but I believe there is better places to live and raise a family or retire with plenty of hunting ,fishing ,and other outdoor activities.As much as I love our home and property I'm thinking of retiring elsewhere.

Family roots is really the only thing that keeps me here. Nice state, but there are other equally nice states with oftentimes better hunting/fishing/recreation and career opportunities.
Same here.Hope to retire in a few years and know that our money would last a lot longer if we lived in another state.
Took the family on a train trip out west 3 years ago and Idaho looks pretty nice.

I hate road hunters.One opening day years ago I scored early and was on my way home.I was following a p/u truck and there was a brushy gully along the side of the road, all of a sudden the brake lights come on and a gun sticks out the window towards the brush.I laid right on the horn.Apparently they didn't know I was behind them as the gun went back in real fast.
