  1. I think you are all right....It just depends on the deers mood that particular day/time... He may react to something one day, and the next day avoid it...
  2. Thanks Burmjohn! Where do you hunt in NY? Any luck this past season?
  3. I am in Erie County, but hunt all over as well...I live not far from Buffalo...closer to Orchard Park...Home of the good ol Buffalo Bills!!
  4. Four Seasons I appreciate the input. I am sure you have a great deal of knowledge about this field, and I'm sure I could learn alot from you! I can honestly say we are not looking to push a crappy product, and fool people. We are very ethical, and take pride in what we are providing hunters. Scot, I also understand your point. Nothing is guaranteed when hunting, especially scents, it can only increase your odds. And Mr Fudd,...Thank you.
  5. Ahhh bummer. We were pretty lucky this year with the kids not getting sick...(knock on wood)...Where do you hunt? Are you from Binghamton?
  6. Understand completly. The does are seperated as they come into heat. The cycle does not last very long, so they are rotated as they cycle. I am not a professional on detemining each does status, but we do have one on the premisis, as a constant monitor to ensuer we are getting only urine from does in heat (estrus). Same goes for collecting the regular doe urine and buck urine. Thanks Four Seasons!!
  7. Awesome picture erussell !!!! Even better with the Ariel shirt !! My daughter saw the picture and wanted to go back out and find her own!!
  8. We collect the Doe-n-Heat during the fall (usually October-November). We do not control the does going into heat by giving them anything unnatural (such as shots) The does come into heat naturally. When the does come into the building to eat and drink, they are kept in the building for a few hours per day, in order to keep the daylight hours a few hours shorter for them. When they urinate, it is drained into a collection run. It is immediatly taken, bottled, and placed into the freezer. No preservatives, just a high sense of urgency to get it frozen!
  9. Has anybody been seeing turkeys strutting yet?? Saw 2 today...almost drove off the road!
  10. Once again, I want to appologize to everybody for the original comment, I am just looking for support from fellow NY hunters on my new product...I believe in what we are doing, and have seen the results. Thanks for the support!
  11. Yes, we do offer Doe-n-Heat...Sweet old Bill, you are very right. The longer the urine is unfrozen the more bacteria reproduces, and the stronger the smell of ammonia will be. We recomend using within 3 days after thawing, but you can refreeze during that 3 day period...
  12. Not much luck here with sheds this year. I have been looking once a week for the last month with my daughter...Think they are holding them longer with the warm weather??
  13. wztirem I am sorry to offend you. I have a regular suit and tie job during the day, and have been trying to pursue my dream in the hunting industry for years. I am just starting to get into hunting networking sites, and I can see your point. I am by no means trying to peddle my product. I of course am trying to get the name of my business out, and looking for support from other local hunters. Again, I see your point, and I have been looking into sponsoring the site as well. Thanks for the comment.
