I too ran the gammit! I've been hunting since 16yo all by myself! Ten years later got a new brother in law to intro to hunting! He liked it, he's just not fanatical like me! We have a blast when were together, which is not that often! Its over 32 years of hunting with and without a partner and I am ok to hunt solo!

Venison on the spit requires a lot of lamb fat on the spit or it dries out too quick! Found this to be true on easter, we made the last of the venison roasts! I used a ton of lambs fat, everybody loved it, Even the bambi huggers. BIG HIT!
