Chilling at ER. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Had a job to do this morning, was reason I wasn't gonna be able to hunt this morning (before this happened). I get there and she says "everything fine but my sound doesn't work" her speakers were unplugged. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

never did find that arrow though

Gonna pop in today, like I said initially though... I think with some exercises to strengthen the muscles around the joint it'll be ok. I'm not thrilled at the idea of surgery like the first doctor wanted to do.

Putting on a T-shirt didn't hurt too bad. Reaching across my body to put on deodorant and reaching down to pull up my pants hurt like hell. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

There is a definite pop if I "rotate" my shoulder joint. Like make a circle with elbow. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Deer passion , yesterday I was holding the sheets overhead as someone else screwed them down. I was also sitting for about 4 hours without moving much prior to the draw. There is a definite warmth sensation in my arm and neck. What grow described as s hot poker seems pretty accurate and I think there may have been a "pop" with the onset of pain. Guess I should just suck it up and go to the ER. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

OE was set to 65. New bow is also set to 65. Right now it hurts at all times. When it was "better" it would only give me a twinge if I reached for something poorly... often say if I reached back for something. My whole arm and hand right now feel "tired" with1 some numbness in my thumb I guess. Ever since the first time this happened I've felt like my shoulder was "delicate". Sitting here doing this on my phone, my shoulder aches when I move my thumb across the keypad. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

I don't do a lot of construction, just have been lately. If it were a partial dislocation.. is there a way to pop it back in myself? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Right now it seems to hurt worst just hanging there. I tried to carry a 1.5lb cereal bowl... arm wasn't happy.. almost dropped it like it was too heavy. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Not for a while, but right now it feels sore , my whole arm feels kinda tired and weak. A slight burning sensation in the shoulder and seems like that side of the neck a little too. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

I'm of the opinion that if I strengthen the muscle "cage" around my shoulder joint that it should keep it's self in check.... another thought is that I'm an IT person so maybe it's some kind of repetitive stress from the minute little mouse movements etc.

I went once about it, had xrays etc done, Dr said he couldn't see anything obvious on xray but felt that it was a bone shard causing inflammation and calcification and that cutting into my shoulder and shaving the bones down would help. I asked him if I'd be doing any further damage if I just lived with it and he said no, but maybe a second opinion is in order.

ordered it, thanks

That part I don't remember... my first memory of it is hunting from on Arts property..... not to say you're wrong.... Is your memory from before you gave me the bow? I know it'd hurt like hell to reach backwards right now. Early... checking that book out. Thanks.

So... anyone have any ideas on strengthening exercises ... I think as I said in the previous post that in both cases I may have raised my elbow when drawing.. Not certain but think so. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Anyhow.. on sept 26th I was on a ladder that tipped out on me and leaped , catching my weight on my arms out in front of me in a kind of "I dream of genie doing a wish" formation. My shoulder pain roared to life. After hot and cold packs , I went to camp the next day.. shot my bow a few times to make sure I could... hung some ladder stands etc. It felt sore but manageable. Since then I've shot targets.. and clipped a tree going after that buck on opening day.. all is fine. Today I hang a Sheetrock ceiling.. my shoulder reminds me it isnt perfect but nothing terrible. This afternoon I draw on a doe and reinact the same scene from 5 years ago. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Nope. I think maybe I cocked my elbow or something. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

So a little back story. About 5 years ago I drew back on an Oneida eagle that nybuckboy had loaned me to get me hooked. My shoulder felt like someone put a hot knife through the joint , I let out a yelp and missed the deer, could barely climb out of the stand. After healing and exercise it got better to the point that the thought of drawing a bow wasn't terrifying. Battery dying... more to follow. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4

Personally youth season does not bother me, in 8 years my daughter will partake. It may slightly disrupt patterns for a day or two, but would get deer moving anyhow. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 4
