  5. I hunt because I love it. I try to fill all my tags to help the herd get through winter and reduce car deer interactions. (And cos I love the rush of either outwitting a deer during bow or the magic of dropping something at 250 yards) I fill my own freezer and a few friends, if there was too much to go round then there's always the food bank. (Hasn't happened yet) The state doesn't give out tags for fun... they need a certain number of deer "managed" and I try to do my part. I dont spray and pray, I try to "snipe" with my rifle, one shot clean kills. I don't shoot immature bucks, though in the past I have taken some BB's. On my property and my neighboring properties we agreed to eights or ears unless its someone's first deer , then they can take whatever they are happy to take So what kind of hunter am I? 17. Yeah I realized that I'd never considered practicing uphill. Got a nice spot in mind with a high back stop to give it a shot. Also have a self healing broadhead target arriving in a couple of hours so we'll see Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
  18. I thought so. Didn't want to just assume and take a bad shot though. Hoping to get back out this afternoon. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
  19. I was in a situation yesterday where I had a doe about 30 yards away from me but about 15 feet higher than me how do I aim in that situation. I realized I'd never practiced shooting uphill before. Is it the same as from a tree stand where you just aim the perpendicular distance Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
  20. It can be really really frustrating. But incredibly rewarding when everything comes together. Feeds some built in caveman urge to get close to your prey. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
  21. Sounds pretty much like I did on year two or three. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
