Got out late around 730 and the rain is supposed to be steady all day but at least I have time to sit until this afternoon. Hoping since it poured all night they'll be on their feet a bit more

Sitting in the ground blind out of the rain in a little corner spot tonight. First time getting my kiddo out in the woods with me again this season. Pulled my camera on the way in and I'm pretty excited about this spot.

I feel somewhat less prepared than previous years but I've been shooting out to 40yrds and feel confident that anything that comes past my stand is in danger. I threw my test broadheads on for some practice yesterday and they are flying well. I'd like to add at least one more stand prior to the season but im not sure if it'll happen

As long as the wind cooperates i'm planning on spending opening morning on a small oak ridge next to some bedding, Hopefully i'll catch something on their way back to bed.

Never have done much canning but it's something that does interest me. We went shopping today and while sam's club seemed normal Walmart seemed like they were out of a lot of normal stuff like vegetables and some dairy products. Definitely makes me interested in keeping more stuff on hand around the house.

Yes the HuntFishNY app has my license and tags and allows me to report my harvests through the app.

I did it on desktop and It worked fine.

I used most of my vacation days this summer for weddings and stuff however I only work 2-3 days a week, Typically just Tuesday and Saturday. 16 and 24 hr shifts, so I'm not too worried about not having time to hunt.

Obviously depends on money and name brand preference but I absolutely love my 2017 F150 Eco Boost. Does everything I need it too and has the 6 speed instead of 10 speed transmission that a lot of guys have had issues with.

Spend more time in the woods with my son and put a good buck on the ground.

Took the little man out and caught a nice smallie yesterday. Unfortunately fishing has been pretty slow for us this summer. Really wanting to buy a boat or canoe so that we can access more area's than a 5yo can travel too on foot.

I'll caution you on that freezer being used in winter. When we moved into our current house I used the freezer for a nice buck I harvested. The garage temperature got below what the freezer temperature was and inside the freezer actually thawed out . I ended up losing the contents in the freezer not just venison. That is the main reason I put heat in my garage ,now the freezer runs as it should as I keep garage temperature 55 to 60 most of winter.
Sure looks like a sweet garage ,nice set up of shelving and storage would be in order .
Thanks for the tip I'll definitely keep that in mind with the freezer!
