yeah i ordered a truglo gobbler xtreme last night for it.... Yeah i am very excited to try the gun out... it needs to be cleaned and oiled first. Thats the weekend job.

I can't decide on the sights to put on my turkey shotgun . It's either mount my strikefire red dot sight . Or put the truglo stick on fiber optics ( like iron sights) sights. What do you guys use prefer? What should I go with?

looks like aimtech sells a rail mouting system for the 120... i doubt anystore will carry it though.

I am going to give them a good cleaning then wrap them in camo form. Also figure out how to mount sights

Thank you guys for the fast responses! Yes the 1100 is a magnum , down the line I may buy a full choke barrel for it. Also the 120 says on the barrel up to 3 inch loads. I just need to grab some chokes. Good I am happy to see I can hunt with my uncles guns efficiently . - the same threads as moss, perfect I will pick some up

Anyone own one of these two guns?... I am doing spring turkey hunting for the first time and thought i would break them out of the safe. They were passed down to me years ago by my godfather who passed. I am hoping they will bring me some luck, The 1100 has a fixed mod choke barrel. and the 120 has threads at the end for a choke tube but the chokes are missing. Anybody recommend any brand chokes for this gun? i know i want to go extra full with this one. Also any other info you may know about these guns or personal experience i would love to hear. Thanks.

Whats up guys this is my first time to go turkey hunting opening weekend. I am looking for a spot not to far off the island hopefully Westchester county to go hunting. Anybody know any good spots in Westchester county? I will be using an old gun passed down to my by my uncle, its an Winchester 120 ranger pump with an extra full choke tube. I an not sure what number shot ill b using weather its 4, 5, 0r 6 because i have not read up on it enough yet. I called my mouth calls all set up and practicing and full camo. I have deer hunted three seasons with no success. I am hoping turkey hunting is different for me haha. Some tips? Call em in! Thanks

oo man, i just went out and bought buck bomb yesterday.. i guess ill buy somthing different if no one has luck with it.

my hunt opening day was private land.. there was no hunters on the land my left of right which i think is why i didn't see anything. There was no one else in the woods moving the deer around. This weekend i will be at sterling in tuxedo NY. there seams to be a lot of hunting there, so they should be getting moved around. Not to mention i have a doe permit for there.

yes i go crazy with the whole scent blocker, special soap in shower, special spray before, all that stuff... then my friend who sits there and smokes a pack of marboro in the woods always comes out with a deer. i dont get it.

I have been hunting for 3 years now. I have not shot at anything to this day. I have seen anything in the woods other then birds and squirrels I am mostly hunt the 3p area. I need some encouragement and maybe some help. A few questions i want to try some estrus dragging. But i am not sure when the right time to use it is. I think it is post rut right now correct? so there for it will not work?.. What is some things i can do now to help attract deer or find where they may be laying. I will be hunting friday the 23rd. Sorry to sound like such a noob.. just getting frustrated.
