What do you guys think are the best waterproof and insulated hunting boots. Does not include mucks. Something you can hike in. what ya got!?

whats everyones backpack of choice just for your daily whitetail hunts. Nothing big just to and from your stand with you basic stuff for your morning, or evening hunts or both. I like the alps stuff but i am trying to stay away a bit from realtree and feel they are all realtree... i would like just a nice tan bag haha. what are you guys using and what do you like?

I have a pair of crispi Nevada boots for sale. They are size 9.5 They are basically brand new . I love them I just sized up to a 10. Uninsulated these are top of the line boots they are mint . Worn outside only once.

The company states to order your true size . That they recommend you order your true size as they run true to size. Based off that pic techinically my true size is 9.5 right?

So I ordered a got a 9.5 and a 10. The 9.5 the length seems ok. Without testing it on downhills to see if any toe touch. But they feel tight on the sides the ten width feels perfect . Length may be a tag long not sure. should I bother trying to order a 9.5w and trying or just stick with the 10 and call it a day

So the problem is I am looking for more of the hiking boot style. The ones I want are only sold out west. Can’t try them on. And to be honest I know hiking boots are suppose to fit like a certain way. I am not really sure haha. I guess what ever one feels more comfortable

Guys what are your favorite hunting and hiking boots. I was thinking about spending some money this year on a good set of boots. like crisis or somthing. I habe brownings now that are ok when hiking, the muck artic pros which are amazing standing still but not great on my hike in and out. what do you think?

Can you hunt Otis pike and ridge and dec properties in Suffolk for small game during the open feb season? I wasn’t sure if you were allowed on the property with a shotgun without having the check station open because that closes Jan 31

Moved my camera into his path just to get a good pic of him. He isn’t as big as I thought. He needs another year for some mass. Hopefully I find his sheds in the next month or so.

I got to the field 40 min before sunrise and there was a buck in the field already. He snorted at me three times. Went into the bushes and loud snort wheezes at me, think he blew up the spot for me that day. it was quiet after that. the buck that was in the field was a smaller buck he was on one of my cams 15 minutes prior

sunday looks like a hard west wind. I like the straight west, but not 22mph. I may give it a shot sunday morning

I am not happy with the wind tomorrow. I don’t wanna f it up. as much as I want to go I am not going to. I am going to stick it out and wait for a better day. I will keep you guys posted thank you for the help!

Maybe I’ll get there early and drop some doe pee from where I see him , back to my stand I think it’s to late for estrus

I’ll be watching the wind constantly. If it ain’t right I’ll sit in the stand. Hopefully the snow comming down won’t keep them bedded
