I had a little free time today so I made a pedestal mount for the bucks I had mounted. I still have to get a few more things for the base.

I have a buddy that recently had his blind stolen. The sole purpose of the blind was to take his 7 years old daughter hunting. Imagine her dissapointment when they get to the hunting location only to find one of the 2 chairs sitting there and the rest missing. I wish people would think about how their actions affect others.

I also use a pellet stove. It works pretty well for me until it gets down into the teens. Then i seem to get cold spots in my house but my house is also 3600sf. Also i find that there is a big difference in pellets. Try barefoot pellets if you have them available, in my opinion they are the best.

Well it's been 3 days and havnt seen him since. I guess I missed my only chance at this guy. Who knows

I'm about 20 feet up..

I went to go check a cam this morning and realized i hunted the wrong stand last night. This buck came in one min after a doe came through with plenty of day light left. then i had pic of both of them going by the other way at around 12:00 AM. i guess hind sight really is 20/20.
