Epic miss a fatty doe was literally sniffing the tree I'm in, she noticed something was not quiet right took a couple steps away presented me with a perfect under ten yard broadside shot. When I shot the string caught the two hundred dollar binoculars I borrowed from my father in law and ripped them in half. O yeah did I mention he bought me a pair for Christmas last year but I liked his better so I haven't returned them yet! FML!! "All your hobbies are money pits" - Wife

So with the season quickly approaching I just realized I've never harvested a deer during warm weather. So I need some advice well a lot actually. all the past deer I've shot have been during the Wisconsin 9 day gun season in November we usually string them up in the garage let them drain out and cool down overnight then bone them out. How would I go about processing one outside in the heat? "All your hobbies are money pits" - Fiancé

Haven't tried it yet but my buddy tells me he washes his clothes in scent free detergent, dries them outside then he stuffs leaves and his clothes in a bag then vacuums all the air out. Says they come out smelling like dirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Which way in your experience is the cheaper route? also I would imagine If I do end up shipping it I would still want it in that pelican case you recommended, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Great info! thank you. I've been looking at some of the pelicans brand they look really tough. So here's another option I've been contemplating does anyone have experience shipping firearms I briefly looked into fed ex ups and usps it looks like you just have to get it shipped to a licensed dealer or collector. What's your thoughts on this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Hello fellow outdoorsmen, I am going on a hunting trip to Wisconsin this November and need to bring my rifle on the plane. So I need to buy a heavy duty case with lots of locks so I can be sure no numbskull can break Into it as well as be able to be thrown around without the gun sliding around in the case I've looked at a few cases and am expecting to pay somewhere around $300 for a high quality case. Any and all advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
