Hi New to the forum and looking to protect my camps (2) with trail cameras and was wondering if there was something which would not alert intruders with a flash and still be able to get shots at night? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Cappy

we go to New Brunswick, Woodstock area. just over the border from Houlton ME. Have hunted there about 8-9 years and love it. Our guide says they are hitting pretty well and lost a trail camera that one of the bears chewed off the tree. we leave on the 28th and stay for the following week. Where do you go??

We go every year, fishing is awesome and bear hunt is a lot of fun, usually get a chance at one but have passed several while waiting for the big one. Spoke with my guide the other day and he says that the baits are heating up pretty well now.

Anybody going to Canada for bear this spring?? Were set to go the last few days of May and first few of June. Cant wait, spoke with my guide and he says the bears are just starting to hit the baits. Still snow in the woods and very cold/rainy.

We had a rough opening day and yesterday was no better, turkeys not talking, we know there around but could not get them to talk, no shots in my area (Norwich) and no strutters in the fields. Is it too early??? We usually get great action the first few days. ???

O-boy, I joined that club and scouted a lot before bow started, I was planning on hunting there during the january season and have already paid. There are other properties that the "club" owns in Mattituck and Bridgehampton, are these any better than the Quoge property as far as the shotgun season goes? Dont think I can get my money back but want to make the most of it. Any thoughts?

I have a nice spot on a funnel where the deer when pushed by hunters on the next property pass thru, I have scored on opening day the last few years and try to stay in the stand all day, last year he didnt come by till after 1:30 PM. I had seen several hunters and my neighbor who rode by on his quad so dont get too upset if you see other guys just make sure you set up on an escape route GOOD LUCK!!!!

I just got a decent Cannon safe on craigslist, it cost me a fraction of what a new one cost and its just what I needed. You have to watch the postings very carefully and move fast because these go quickly but not a bad way to get one. Good luck!!
