Be careful might be someones husky mix..
a couple of years ago maybe three, someone shot with a bow what they thought was a coyote on the edge of tallman state park - just south of nyack about 3-4 miles - somebody's husky off leash being walked.

the second pic in above post of the bobcat is cool. he is a stud. i agree that one could easily be misconstrued as a cougar.

i use field and stream with a 1000g of insulation.
I bought them in binghamton at the original dicks about 6 years ago - on sale for 49.99 - and they have been great I wear regular black ankle socks under them and they are very warm.

i also treat all my clothes with sawyers - stuff is the greatest. i wear rubber boots for the last couple of years and hunt mostly 3r and 3m and haven't had too many. i have pulled 3 out of my scalp and never dawned on me to treat my hats. i will now!
I did a drive in 3m yesterday and went thru some really thick stuff - my buddy was fortunate enough to shoot a 4 point -but i only had 2 ticks thanks to sawyers. normally i would be absolutey covered.
Also only ticks i have pulled off of me have been dog ticks. not deer ticks

i had 3 misfires in a box of 20 rem corelokts i was a shooting 165 gr 30-06

10/11/2017 rained a little bit and he completely snuck up on me. i was in a ground blind and he was less than 10 yds when i finally heard him. truthfully the 1st arrow buried into a 2 inch tree where he was walking across. He was going left to right and i was turning to my right - for me a difficult shot. he did maybe a 3yd circle and just stood and only gave me a neck shot as he was covered by trees.

i think that its a regular black snake. he would get a pass he kills lots of other rodents if i'm right.
if not cut him in half - see how fast they move and no arms or legs!!
