    you post doesn't seem to clear at the end there.  Are you saying that the deer cane stuff is legal or illegal.  Ive seen it in stores and it seems like baiting to me.

    I was told at my bow safety course that those shirts shouldn't be worn in public because they look bad or whatever.  I know that there are worse ones than that though.  Like redneck deer drive and it shows three guys driving a truck after deer LOL.  I disagree with that because like every other person we like to have fun to.  Just because we wear shirts like that doesn't mean that were killing machines or bad people.  Other people were shirts that say much worse things than a redneck way of hunting or fishing.  It just doesn't make sense to me I guess why people care what you wear (hunter or non hunter).  I'm not attacking anyone or accusing you of being wrong.  You have your own opinion and are entitled to it 100% but I'm proud to be a hunter and will be as long as God allows me to.  If I want to wear a camo shirt I'm wearing it.  I agree being dressed from head to toe in camo can send a bad message sometimes.  But if you need to make a quick stop before or after a hunting trip o well what are you gonna do.  I'm not changing just because someone might look at me differently.

    On one of my stands I do because it is real close to a deer trail and I know any deer coming by will be pretty close.  Its not as nice as the one you got but it works I guess.  I'm really looking into one of those two man stands though.  Do you hunt out of it by yourself for more room or with someone else?

    My dad bought a used climber from a guy he works with.  He didn't really like it probably because it was not aluminum and it was pretty heavy.  He just left it at a base of a tree and would climb up whenever he went to that spot.  The guy ended up wanting it back so my dad sold it back to him LOL!!!

    You can actually find scent sold in stores in a small spray bottle.

    What does putting scent in a freezer do.  When it comes out of a doe it would be quite warm wouldn't it?

    Interesting because I read somewhere that once a buck sheds his velvet he is capable of breeding up until he drops his horns.  Therefore a buck would always be attracted to doe estrous.

    But what you say makes sense if you use doe pee during the "chasing phase" or pre rut it could bring in a buck to investigate and estrous during the "breeding phase" or when most other does are in estrous.

    According to the rut map on versus .com ny is in the pre rut now.  I will use cover scent that will probably be all for a couple days.  Might try some doe estrous on monday or tues.  Ive never had any luck with doe scents though.

    I kind of feel the same way with to many scents.  I feel that if it was like a ranch and there was tons of bucks you might see a difference.  The chances of me seeing a doe is much greater then a buck and I feel it might scare a doe. 

    Also is there a difference between doe pee and doe estrous.  I know in real life there is but is there a difference with the stuff sold in stores.  I used both and they smell the same to me, but I don't have the nose of a deer either.

    I heard the same thing that they escaped fromt the game farm in Homer.  Ive been up to some state land around there just to check it out and didn't see any or any evidence.  But the internet says that they are there.  I will probably go take a much closer look this summer after turkey season is done with.  I'm really interested in them and would love to hunt them without paying.  :O  Is there anyway that one of the topics on the main board could be about Pigs?  I think that would be pretty cool!!!!

    Has anyone ever had any luck with deer scent.  Or seen a buck or doe react to it in a certain way.  I always put some out never really seems to make a difference.  If you have had success using it how do you use and set it up?
