All I've been seeing are bucks.. few does on camera. Sucks because right now all I have are doe tags! Until rifle season that is.

By no means a trophy hunter. Well for starters, last night I sat in the same spot, there's a camp that is highly inactive, never have actually seen anyone there until this year, but they decided to stay there this weekend. This one came in but got spooked from the kids tuning around playing. Now, it's about 300 yds from me, I was quite upset. Got up this morning debating, said screw it I'll give it another shot. "Maybe they'll sleep in" haha. Well they did. This guy came in quick like he was on a mission. Right from the corn field about 200yds to my left. He got right under me about 10yds, I blat to him to get him to stop, no interest, finally slowed up enough and let one rip and I dropped him! Hit him high behind the shoulder clipped the spine. Can finally say I got a buck with a bow. Time to be more selective now! Awesome morning!

I did see a couple taken with crossbow on there, crossbow is open though? How was it taken illegaly? Lol

Pretty slow morning really, questioning why I decided to even sit out!

There are large variety of hunters on here, of course there are going to be differences between each of us. I feel instead of pinning or bashing them, give them advice rather then a lecture. It's all a learning experience. Heck, I'm only 4 yrs into bow hunting and I know for sure I don't know it all, I'm lucky to have people to help me with decisions to make, good shots or bad. Scouting certain areas and figuring out patterns We really shouldn't crucify anyone, help em' out instead.

Back at it this morning! Had a real nice 6 last night cruising making a couple scrapes last night, grunted to get his attention and he came running in but wasn't interested the second he came in shooting range behind some branches. Made a judgement call and let him walk due to the poor shots I could've taken. Maybe he'll swing by again soon! Not to mention I got the "magical 10-11" point on camera I've heard a few people have seen over the summer, right in the same spot! And another two fighting right over the ground scrape in front of me. All these bucks but not a single one wants anything to do with me! Lol well good luck to you fellow hunters lucky enough to get out on a Tuesday also, get a biggin!
