    Caught it a few days ago. Solid catch with a grapple. 19 pound female.

    I'm using wax dirt. I've never had any luck with peat moss in the winter. Once it gets wet and freezes , the set becomes inoperable.

    I was just trying to show the holding power and the perfect high catch that the trap made. Unfortunately these things can happen when an animal fights the trap.

    Yes.....MB-550's Probably the best built traps I ever used.

    Caught this guy the other day. I never heard a coyote bark and growl as much as this guy did. He didn't go far with a grapple.
