I was debating on whether to let him walk this morning but considering it’s my last day out and I haven’t had any venison in 3 years …… I decided to take him. He’s a small rack 5 pointer but big enough to kick my ass getting him to my truck. Good luck to everyone who’s still deer hunting.

I’d be fuming too . Sorry to read this New York Hillbilly. I learned that lesson a couple of years ago when a gobbler came in silent when I was on my phone. Learned that lesson the hard way.

I let a small 5 pointer walk by me Sunday morning because I was hoping for something a little bigger. I’m starting to think that I made a mistake.

Oh yeah….. I can still remember the clippity clop of the horse drawn carriage during the funeral procession. I remember little John John saluting. Not sure if color tv was available at that time but we only had black and white.
