I shoot a CVA accura V2 and am shooting 2 white hots with barnes TXZ 250 gr and CCI mag primer. I tried black horn, was getting decent groups ..... not much better than my current whitehot load.......but experienced a hang fire with blackhorn on a buck and hit him low and will not be going back to it. If you want to use blackhorn I think you need to run their breach plug and really HOT primers. Most of my shots are less than 100 yards so I'm sticking with what is currently working good for me.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. This guy always waits for the perfect shot and it paid off this time.

We had 8 guys at our camp in 9P this weekend. We did a bunch of state land drives. We tend to do more of a slow still hunt push. FYI, I know a lot frown upon deer drives. However, we ARE NOT rock heads that take crappy shots at running deer. Anyway, we did drives all day and didnt see any deer until the last drive where we got a do and a slammer buck. Buck was glued to a small doe. He's busted off on the one side at the G2, which is a shame. I'll post pics later.
