Nicholas Nolan, 8, of North Syracuse, holds up a nice, 19-inch smallmouth bass he caught recently on Oneida Lake while fishing with his grandfather.

His father, Jason Nolan, wrote: It was caught in 20 feet of water. They also caught their limit of walleye the same day. Fishing is my son's absolute favorite activity."
