Syracuse.com - Young Brewerton angler catches 23-inch walleye on Oneida Lake

It was his first time fishing for walleye.

Josh Leavery, 11, of Brewerton, holds up a nice, 23-inch walleye he caught recently on Oneida Lake.

The youngster and his dad, Scott Leavery, were taken out by chapter boat Capt. Mike Domachowske.

"Both anglers caught their limit on Oneida Lake, with a bonus of plenty of white perch," Domachowske said.
