Mike Cusano, of Clay, holds up a nice, 4-pound smallmouth bass he caught recently on Lake Ontario.

His fishing partner that day, Burnie Haney, wrote: "I shared the boat with Mike this weekend on the big lake and we used top waters and soft plastics to catch some quality smallies. Here’s one of the better ones we landed."
