He wrote: " Dave I made the trip to Newfoundland with six guys from Upstate NY back on 9/7/12.

"It was a long drive -- 2,400 miles round trip and a 18-hr ride on the ferry round trip from North Sydney, Nova Scotia to Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland.

"We had 11 inches of rain and 70 mph winds for two days.

"But we all got our moose. We will eat good this winter."
