Bowhunter Brian Russell related the following tale of his 8-point buck, which he got with his bow in Georgetown.

Russell wrote: "I heard the buck blow, turned around in my stand, and saw him walking right toward me.

"I stopped him in a shooting lane; shot him at about 15 yards and he only ran about 40 yards.

"No tracking required. "
