It has nothing to do with it. it has everything to do with the fact that the people who are putting these laws in place do not in fact know anything about guns or how they work.

Exactly! So how the hell could this be passed as a law when in fact it has nothing to do with how lethal the weapon is. Pointless law! And that is what angers me. If the law is truly purposeful and would actually make a difference in these violent crimes and mass murders then I would be willing to bend but most of these laws in my eyes will have no affect.
