sweet old bill
Living in Franklin NY it is great as we get into Oct to see the leaves change and the start of the bow season in the middle of the month. But for hunting I have found that we need two hard frost to get the brush down and most years it seems to be we get into that last weekend of October and the bucks are in the chase for the doe's I stay out all day and just enjoy the time afield. I have been hunting now for over 50's years. I wish I could say that I have taken over 50 bucks with the bow but I let a lot walk on by and I am not a doe shooter. I have taken what I call about a doz good bucks of over 6 points, most were 8 points. I did one time shoot a 7 point with a drop tine.
