It weighed 20 pounds. He caught it off the lower Niagara River.

Jim Pesane, of Brewerton, hold up an impressive lake trout he caught recently on Lake Ontario off the Lower Niagara River.

Pesane said he caught the fish using 8-pound, fluorcarbon line in 25 feet of water drifting with a minnow.

"Took 20 minutes to boat him," he said.
