We'd like to see them move through as they have in years past," said the park manager. Jim Semar, park manager, of Green Lakes State Park told me this afternoon that three black bears -- two cubs and a mother -- were spotted at the park late last week. "Members of the Syracuse ROTC spotted them Thursday and reported the sighting to park police, who heard them," Semar said. Semar said his staff is informing campers and others to pick up after themselves, and to not leave food out that the bears might eat.
