growalot
Every few years I allow some of my plants to go on growing sprees...then I take the ones that rooted well and separate them from the main plant and replant them...vines are so easy to do and this year all this rain has them rooting with out soil contact...but I just got a bucket for of Niagaras to transplant ...several quince...plum shrubs...aronia bush and hazel nut shrub/trees....here are the grapes...they will be healed into the garden and trans planted next spring to support I make from blk locust logs...at 8-9 dollars a vine to buy I just saved a lot of money...not to mention the other stuff

growalot
yes they do...if you keep up with the trimming you can produces a tree...but left to it's own they produce a very large bush that gets bigger with each new shoot...like a blue berry bush....I choose to grow as bush because we have such a hard time with voles... wood chucks....now rabbits and buck rubbing...even if they get a few stems there are more to keep it going
