It took almost 20 people to move the specimen to the beach.

While snorkelling in Toyon Bay, marine biologist Jasmine Santana of Catalina Island Marine Institute came across the remains of an 18-foot long oarfish, according to io9.com.

"It took almost 20 people to move the rare specimen to the beach," the website said.
