ATV and hunting question.

so i bought a new ATV this spring, pretty much for trail riding and pulling logs. but i started thinking that I have a swamp stand and could ride my ATV to the stand insted of walking through the swamp, so my question is this. how close is legelly to close to have my ATV to me and my stand? for instance could I ride the ATV right to the ladder of the stand and climb up or do i have to have it a special distance away?

Far as I know as long as the gun is never loaded (even leaning) on the ATV you can have it where ever you wish.

yeah i know you cant have a loaded guy on the ATV but could a person be in a tree stand say 18 feet up with the gun and the ATV at the base of the tree stand ? or is there some set distance you need to be away from the ATV before its legal to have a gun / bow and be able to shoot?

you don't ever need to touch the ground if you want.drive to your stand, step onto the ladder from your atv and climb up, the only law you would have to be concerned with is the loaded weapon on a vehicle, as was stated already

Also, never lean on the motorized vehicle if you are taking a shot. That's considered shooting from a motorized vehicle, a DEC infraction.
