redsman
I'm new to New York and New York hunting. I have a question about tags. I didn't get to shoot a buck during General gun season. Does the tag just not get used or what ? Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
upstate
unless you have an unused bow tag from this year, which can be used in the early bow season in the northern zone 9/27-30 in 2014, the tag is no good. Your muzzle loading tag is still good for about another week.

That tag then becomes an either sex tag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
redsman
Ok I have a misspelled tag which I was told is an either tag. So I can use the buck tag as a doe tag. Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk

I should add: the bow tag is also good for this late bow season as well Both in appropriate the zones. Your regular season BUCK tag is also good apparently for late season You can use DMP tags with muzzleloader as well. Was I clear enough? redsman
Thanks for the info guys. My father in law told me it was good to kill a doe with since I didn't use it. But then he said today it can't be used,so I wanted to make sure if he was originally right or not. If you shoot a doe, I'd use the ML tag. If you shoot another doe, then I'd use the regular tag. The regular tag is good for both in late season.
