Weekend trip for last weekend

would be nice to put a deer or two in my freezer. thinking if I don't take one before the last weekend I may take two or three days after xmas to a place or two around NY.

 

wondering if anyone can suggest a spot say 4 hours or so from the city that has good deer and a decent place to crash that wont break the bank.
