Hunting Cattaraugus County

I just bought some land in the town of Portville in Cattaraugus county and was wondering if anyone has hunted in this area, I have never hunted this

area, got a good deal on some land and bought it so any info on this part of the state would be very helpful. Thanks

I have hunted portville my entire life as has my dad and uncle lived and grew up there if you don't mind me asking where abouts there my whole family lives there.....you can pm if you want otherwise a little more specific questions Ik I can answer. I currently live in.hinsdale bout a 10 min drive

I have been hunting a farm in Portville for the past 32 years. Half the property is in Cattaraugus Co. and the other half, which is just on the other side of the road is in Alleganey Co. It has always been great deer hunting. I have no idea how many deer we have taken off that property. The whole area is good…Good luck.

One problem for me is dmps I only get one about every few years as I don't own land
