Syracuse.com - Winona Forest Tourathon will draw cross country skiers from across the state

"Trails are being groomed to perfection with our new Ginzu groomer!," according to a press release from race organizers.

Top cross country skiers from across Upstate New York are expected to compete in Saturday's 34th annual Winona Forest Tourathon.

The popular cross country skiing event, hosted by the Winona Forest Recreation Association, will be held at the CCC Camp in Mannsville.

"Trails are being groomed to perfection with our new Ginzu groomer!," according to a press release from race organizers. "Conditions are awesome. It gonna be a great race."

The race schedule starts at 8 a. m. with the 37.5K and 50 K races, and continues at 8:30 a.m. with the 12.5 K and 25 K races.

This year's event will include a chicken barbecue put on by the Mannsville Fire Co., door prizes, raffles and entertainment.
