Stealth cam l430IR?

i have a stealth cam I430IR. I cant get the settings right some times it works great. other times when you set the sleep mode it will wake up and snap 3 pic in a row of nothing. if anyone has this unit can you tell me what setting's you use. all i am looking for the is it to take pic from motion.

Does this camera have upgradable firmware? If so try that first.

Thank's i dont know if it does but i will look. i am going up friday i have it set up at my stand hope it has some pic of the 8pt that i saw on sunday and if it has a 1000 pic again i think i will shoot it off the tree!

there should be a timing interval option on the camera, try setting it to 15 minutes. YOu also want to make sure there isn't anything blowing in the wind in front of your camera.

i set it up inside the house with nothing moving in the room. and had the time mode set at 30 min for a 3 pic burst. when i got home from work i looked and it took 3 pic every 30 min.

Set the Capturing sequence. The Stealth Cam STC-I430IR can be

programmed to shoot 1~9 pictures per triggering or 5~90 seconds

of video.

• This word CAMERA will be blinking

• Press [OK] button to choose picture mode then press the [uP]

or [DN] button to select the desired capture setting (number of

pictures per triggering).

• Press [OK] to confirm your selection.

• If you want to choose video mode, when the word CAMERA is

blinking, press [uP] to choose video mode. Now the word

VIDEO will be blinking. Press [OK] to confirm your selection.

• Press [uP] or [DN] button to select the desired video length

(from 5 seconds to 90 seconds in 5 seconds increment)

• Press [OK] to save and exit to TIME OUT setting.

good luck, i do like the three picture sequence as long as its triggered by motion.
