Just wondering if anyone could recommend a reputable breeder of British labs here in NY. Looking for a good dog to do some waterfowl and upland hunting with in the future. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

I can't recommend a good British Lab breeder as I don't know of many producing good hunting stock. But if you're open to other options, I got my dog from Tammy Adsitt near Buffalo. He is a great waterfowl and upland dog. I've been guiding pheasants hunts at a preserve and he absolutely loves the game. We started running hunt tests this year and the judges even complemented him for being such a great dog. Tammy and her daughter are excellent trainers and can offer lots of support. Sorry for the infomercial, I'm just really happy with my dog! If you have your heart set on a British Lab, I would try contacting the WNY retriever club or Finger Lakes club for recommendations.
