7m hunting

Does anyone here hunt the state land off from route 12 in brook field........we enter from Coleman mills road and onto brown road......if so, how did you do hunting there....eric

Brookfield NY is not in 7M??

The state land we hunt has a sign on it that says town of Brookfield on one of the trails......kind of a hit or miss because 2 years ago a DEC officer said brown rd was the line, which is the road we hunt on......I know it is 7m because the last day of gun season this year the DEC stopped to check a couple does we had shot

I stand corrected- I grew up in Utica and thought it was north or Utica which would put it in Region 6

 

It';s actually SW of Utica 

 

Brown Rd runs through the Charles E Baker state Forest State Forest. .

 

FURNMAN HILLS RD , which at one time had an archery place on it runs from 12 to Brown but Brown Rd not the line.

 

That's not  a bad area at all . Have not been there in years

I love hunting there.  Im not sure why but something about it makes me think of it all summer.  I took a decent 8 pointer out of there this year and a doe
