labrador retriever training?

Gents,  

 

I'm new to the forum/NY and not sure where would be best to post this topic...

 

I'm looking for recommendations for Labrador retrieving training in the NY/PA area.  Mostly interested in a hunt test vs. field trial trainer.  Need force fetch, collar conditioning and basic foundation work.

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes I'm looking to have my dog prof. trained.

 

I recently relocated to Rochester- but am not married to a trainer in the immediate area but at the same time would like someone within 4-5 hr drive.  I know the retriever forums/thanks, but am looking for more "local" knowledge/input.

Look up Sean Hager. I bought a phenomenal dog from his wife Renee a few years ago. They are excellent trainers, I run into them at hunt tests all the time. They are located south of Buffalo, but it's not a bad drive from Rochester. I train with a small group in Rochester if you ever want any help.
