Sterling Forest

Probably hard to find out since they did away with the Deer check station at Sterling.

One hunter I talked with in Sterling said his buddies got 4-5 out Sterling close to Harriman (the village).  He had 0 at that point.

I had a chance at a yearling doe (very small) on top of a ridge (same one I was standing on at the time) that overlooked a county road, and some houses (which was the direction the shot would have gone).

This was just south of Indian Hill.

Bears went through two of the areas I set up in this year.  At least one was a cub.  They may have messed up my deer hunt for those two spots.
