growalot
The doe have dropped a bunch of fawns on us and the cams are showing nearly all doe...now this year will be the test...planted the soybeans and the buck came and stayed all summer doe left...this year pretty much planted nothing so far....have a couple of clover plots and the doe dropped fawns and are staying like they use to. if the buck come back in the fall and we have the usual staging areas used I'll conclude it was those soybeans! BTW. the farmer who told me SB won't grow in these soils and found it dubious as to my claim of great ones...he now has 100 acres that I know of in them this year.... Good he's within two miles and let him feed them... Angel must think I'm training her...was down below picking big rocks..OMG they are just awful this year. Almost like I don't have 20+ 6ft high piles of them EVERY WHERE! Anyways I was keeping her very close and bent over prying out a boulder when she poked my leg...ya ya...poked again I turn and she is staring into the field...50 yrds away stood a skinny little fawn...watching us...Angel looked at me and I shook my head no as I stood. I told her she was a good girl and the fawn turn and trotted away...Angel gave me one more please look then laid down when I frowned...poor girl...she just wants to play...lol I can hardly wait for the grand baby to be born and get old enough to understand...what fun I'm planning
