I put her together again to get the proper measurements for the roof frame...good thing too...those pilot drill hole...none lined up...duh I put the siding on the wrong side of front and back panels... so re-drilled and screwed it together ..Wow rock solid with just a few screws. also added corner flaps to one side that didn't need them easy exacto cut...also one front corner flap is a tad short...but doable...taking a drink break then clamping and marking roof frame....

Hit  a snag...I made the roof frame and had no problem putting it on and taking it off ...before I put the soffit boards on and then the cardboard...it's going to rain  tonight and I took the rubber roofing out and made sure I had plenty to roll under soffit boards and attach....knowing how heavy that roofing is I decided not to put it on...but put the roof on and lay the rubber over it for the night...Mr B went to go deliver some furniture so no one here to help...son of a gun that roof is now too heavy for me to handle alone!....lol.... I made it too sturdy...if he doesn't get home soon I'll have to store it under the porch and ratchet a tarp over the blind... to keep the rain from sagging into the blind...Now I know I'll have to have a couple of guys around to help pull the roof up and set it in place when I put it up...the roof is 8 foot sq.

  • 3 weeks later...

So no gym for me today...I managed to pop some blood vessels in my rt eye...I'm looking a tad Holloweenish...sneezing fit is what we figure..... Freaked Mr B right out!...one look and he was on the phone to the doctors..I didn't know it had happened. No heavy lifting and no meds that could be blood thinners.

So I put the blind up today..just headed out...took all but the front walls down yesterday...God I love that Gator!...I have it set to slide each wall section up a ladder and then screw them together...I'll then position the whole thing and screw it down..I decided to use some of the rubber roofing pieces to make sure inside stays completely dry...I will cut and lay strips down under each panel...then staple them up to the bottom of each wall panel...the out side will get a line of caulking...

I did not put the door on due to having to move the panels..but also procrastinated putting the cardboard cover on and painting it..so door wont be on today as well as the roof..that I do have to have the guys assistance with.. Wish me luck...
