AdirondackBH Posted October 9, 2015 Share Posted October 9, 2015 It's finally here. Opening weekend was awesome, minus the crazy winds. I still saw a lot of deer moving early all the way to dark. I managed to fill a doe tag on the 2nd. I'll be the first to admit, that I made a mistake when I took the shot. I am not happy with that, but mistakes happen and I learned my lesson from that hunt. The first video is a recap of our week as a whole. The crew managed to put down another doe and a great looking 9 point that had a little surprise for us when we first walked up on him! That shot severed the artery that runs along the spine, and I also put a followup shot on her, she was dead in less than a minute.
